MUCH ADO ABOUT TRANSITIONING TO AUTUMNAL ACCENTS

MUCH ADO ABOUT TRANSITIONING TO AUTUMNAL ACCENTS

During this time of year, I start to get a little stir crazy with my style! I want to pull out all of my sweaters and boots to skip around outside in a field of leaves, but it’s still 80 degrees- can you believe it?! I’ve put together a sort of formula I like to call Festive Fall Formula- I know creative right- which mixes some summer lovin’ and autumnal accents.

You can switch out any of these components, but make sure you add a trendy component; I added my Henri Bendel Twillie to my look which is a flaming red. There are many ways to go about your transitioning-to-fall ensembles, so experiment, ladies! I decided to mix my boyfriend cropped sweater from NastyGal (#RIP) and a pair of faux-leather shorts from Zara to keep cool! These shorts are super comfy and show off the little tan that I have left! Try out a blazer instead of a sweater or even a one-shoulder long sleeved shirt to pull the look together.

I find that even when I feel like I’m dressing appropriately for the weather, I’m totally wrong and it ends up raining! Try switching between loafers, furry slides and your favorite booties! Everything is either velvet or shiny, so get used to the bedazzle. For my transitioning outfit, I switched between a mauve pair of loafers from TopShop and a pair of plain, black leather booties.

Feel free to change up the formula; maybe try one-part summer, two-parts fall and a trendy hat!
