MUCH ADO ABOUT EMBROIDERY AND ADORNMENTS

There’s a feeling of fall in the air (finally) and even more trends to fill up your closet. There are so many enchanting and exhilarating trends that are picking up within the fresh air: This includes embroidered embellishments. Don't worry you'll be on trend in a stitch!

Let’s start with the embroidery accents and patchwork details that are adorning every top, handbang, and, yes, your wide-leg jeans. There seems to be something so perfect about a white button down and vines or flowers grazing of the shoulders to add a little extra pop. I love my Zara blush tone top with florals embroidered all over it because it hides the sexiness of the mesh. I do love showing a little skin, but sometimes I need a little more coverage, and a simple black tank top styled underneath with an overlay of embroidery is a fabulous way to mix in that trend.

Let’s flashback to the 70s where all bell bottom jeans were gracefully adorned with patches and denim or military jackets uniquely designed with an overlay of studs or prints that popped off the jacket allowing for an extra bit of allure. These were the good old days, and it seems like they are back to play.

It seems as if there is a sense of empowerment about these embroidery details that customers are embracing. Why wear a basic button-down top, when it could say something a little more flirty with birds or geometric shapes stitched right on top?! I completed my look with some black fringe earrings, which are having a huge moment (hopefully they'll linger for longer) and black pants and over-the-knee suede boots.
