Much Ado About Nutrition Month

It's national nutrition month! Let's put a little attention on the importance of making informed food choices and our physical activity habits!

There is no possible way to do it all! As a freelance marketer, I sometimes notice most of my time goes towards helping brands instead of my own health. I love eating healthy, whole foods, but all of the shopping, prepping and cooking sometimes takes forever! Also, I love eating junk food sometimes, but I've come to realize that I can eat better versions of these guilty foods (and in moderation!).

That's why I wanted to become a recipe creator for Jolli! They believe that it shouldn't be expensive and exhausting to make really good food. Jolli is a startup with a fresh, ever-growing recipe selection from an expanding group of recipe creators that customers can trust. Finish National Nutrition Month strong by ordering from Jolli and receive $5 off your first purchase with promo code JOLLIMADISON. The site even has filtering options for allergies and preferences, such as vegan and gluten-free.  Try out my adaptation to my grandma's meatball recipe below!

Along with love for your tummy, try to send some love to other parts of your body! In celebration of the month, I've been embracing protein powder into my diet to feed my sore, small (but growing) muscles. I love the free ToneItUp app and Core Power Yoga to feed my body's need to work out. Either fitness option is great and have flexible schedules- I even go to yoga at 9PM after a long day of work. For more fitness love, check out my other post about Yoga! Or, for more inspiration follow one of my favorite fitfluencers, Rachel Brathen (AKA Yoga Girl!).
