I am back in the states! It is bittersweet to go right from traveling and interning abroad to starting my final year of courses at college. I thought I would share some affordable ways to soak up the last bits of summer before the weather changes and our tans start to fade!
Do some yoga or read while catching rays at the beach. Bring the September issue of Vogue while your at it to get some ideas on the new trends for fall. If you haven’t heard, Beyoncé is on the cover, so it’s a must read… There are only two weekends left to lounge and relax in the sand (including Labor Day weekend), so use them wisely! I will probably head to the beach until October because the beach is my happy place, but that’s just me!
If you already studied the Vogue issue and are ready to shop, remember, many stores are having their end of summer sales! Nastygal has many items 70% off right now and you can still transition summer picks with cardigans once the weather starts to turn. If you’re looking for things for your dorm check out Urban Outfitters many items are also on sale- or you can find promo codes very easily online.
Many of my friends recently came back from their summers abroad as well so a bottomless brunch was a necessary date for us. There are not many all-inclusive, pre fix brunches outside the city, but we found the cutest (and affordable for $30) brunch that was filling and scenic for a group of friends or a couple to catch up.
